Releases
Last updated 9 October 2026
Every version of Cloister stays here to download for as long as we sell Cloister (Terms §4.2). If a new version says your licence doesn't cover it, this is where to find the last one it does.
Which versions your licence covers
Every version released on or before the last day of your update window. Cloister shows that day in Settings, under Licence, as updates until a date, and the email with your key says it too. Download the newest version below that your licence covers. A Lifetime licence covers every version.
A version marked Security fix is covered for as long as your support period runs, five years from when you first bought your licence, even after your update window has closed (Terms §4.3).
The list starts with the first version sold with a licence. The free test builds from before then are not kept.
Versions
Cloister 1.0.1
Build 15 · released 9 October 2026 · macOS 15 or later · 10.4 MB
Covered by a licence with updates until 9 October 2026 or later.
- Settings no longer shows the Siri & Shortcuts section, and the menu no longer suggests what to say to Siri: on the Mac they didn't work as described yet.
- Nothing new is sent: Cloister still contacts our servers only to activate, unlink, renew or refresh a licence, and to check for updates.
Cloister 1.0
Build 14 · released 9 October 2026 · macOS 15 or later · 10.3 MB
Covered by a licence with updates until 9 October 2026 or later.
- The first release: block sites for a session that can't be cancelled early, started from the menu bar or on a schedule.
- A 14-day trial, then a licence from getcloister.app.
- Settings → General → Uninstall Cloister… removes it in one step.
- Nothing about what you block, or when, is sent. Cloister contacts our servers only to activate, unlink, renew or refresh a licence, and to check for updates; Privacy says what each request carries.
