Pricing
Cloister for Mac is bought once, on this site. Cloister for iPhone and iPad is a separate app, free to download, with Cloister Pro in the App Store.
Pay once. No subscription.
For Cloister on the Mac. The tiers differ in how many Macs they cover and how long new versions keep arriving.
Nothing renews by itself
You pay once, for a window of updates. Nothing recurring, nothing to cancel.
Nothing expires
When your updates end, the version you already have keeps running indefinitely.
No lock-outs
A failed payment can never lift a block you asked for, or end a session early.
One limit worth knowing before you buy.
Safari with iCloud Private Relay switched on gets past the block until Cloister’s network filter is on. The filter blocks it too, once you allow it in System Settings and turn it on in Cloister.
